The Solano Loom™
In 2016, Marlene Cartter reworked a design from a bead loom she had been using for many years and, with a number of improvements, developed the Solano Loom™.
The base of the loom is sustainably harvested California Redwood. The major metal components are fabricated and powder coated in California, and the looms are assembled in a genuine cottage industry in Solano County.
The strength without being too heavy and versatility of the Solano Loom™ make it an appropriate tool for a wide range of loomed beadwork, from hat bands, sashes, fringes, bracelets, and acwicent pieces that can be applied to buckskin. The loom measures 36" long and 6" wide.
The natural beauty of varnished redwood also makes the Solano Loom™ one of the more attractive beading tools one is likely to use.
To purchase The Solano Loom™ please place your order via the contact page on this site. The loom's purchase price is $225.00 plus shipping and handling. After receiving your purchase request Marlene will be in touch as soon as possible.
